Who We Are
My name is Kolin Sanders. I'm a Johnson County native, a licensed Class A General Contractor, and the founder of Clear Path Co. — a vertically integrated construction and development company built on a simple belief: the places we live and work should serve us fully, function beautifully, and reflect the life we're building.
Before starting Clear Path, I spent years in corporate finance and treasury — overseeing cash flow, managing multi-entity operations, and learning how great organizations are built from the inside out. When I made the decision to build something of my own, I brought that same analytical discipline into the field. Every project is planned with precision, communicated with transparency, and executed with craftsmanship that holds up long after we've packed up and gone home.
Alongside me is Nicole, my fiancée and a licensed realtor in both Kansas and Missouri. Nicole helps our clients find the right properties — whether they're looking for a home, an investment, or a commercial opportunity. Together, we see the full picture: the land, the structure, and the life that happens inside it.
Our Approach
Construction is personal. Whether we're widening a doorway for someone who uses a wheelchair, building a steel structure for a business owner's lifelong dream, or helping a family close on the right property — the stakes are real, and we treat them that way.
Our approach is built on three things:
Clarity. You'll always know what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what it costs. No surprises. No runaround. Just clear, honest communication from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Craftsmanship. We don't cut corners. Every project that carries the Clear Path name is held to the same standard — whether it's a quick grab bar install or a federal construction bid.
Commitment. We show up. We answer the phone. We follow through. In an industry where that's not always the norm, it's become our most important differentiator.
Simple Ideas. Lasting Impact.
The best construction isn't about complexity — it's about getting the fundamentals right.
A grab bar installed at the right height and angle gives an 80-year-old the confidence to shower independently. A well-placed access panel saves a homeowner thousands in future repair costs. A properly engineered steel building lasts a generation longer than the alternative.
These aren't dramatic interventions. They're thoughtful ones. And they add up.
At Clear Path, we believe in doing the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons — and trusting that the impact of that approach compounds over time. In our clients' lives. In our community. And in the reputation we're building, one project at a time.
